110683f419 refactor(text): per-entity SDF text — all text kinds, selection/hover highlight
Rearchitect SDF text from a document-wide collector to per-entity
production during tessellation, so each entity owns its glyph quads and
composite/nested text is covered for free (no re-explosion, no per-frame
document walk).

- WireModel gains `text_verts`: glyph quads ride on the wire, so they are
cached by the tess memo, cloned on hit, and transformed by the block
  expand loop exactly like `points`.
- Text arm (tessellate.rs) builds the quads when SDF is on and suppresses
the strokes; render gathers text_verts from the viewport wire set
(`gather_text_verts`, cached on wire content id) — the old collector is
removed. Covers model, dimension, table, block-internal and paper-sheet
  text uniformly.
- MLEADER text (lays out via layout_mtext, not the Text arm) gets its own
SDF branch driven by the per-run GlyphRun.
- Pick box comes from the rendered glyph quads (true text extent), not
entity_aabb which mis-places the box for MTEXT; composite paths no longer
clobber the empty text wire's tight AABB (dim pick box hugs the text).
- Selection / hover highlight via a text-highlight overlay (upload_text_
highlight, keyed on selection_generation) mirroring the selected-wire
xray overlay; base glyphs stay neutral so a deselect leaves no stale tint.
- Debug: env OCS_TEXT_BOX draws each run's glyph-bounds rectangle.

2bbd3cfcd2 feat(pick): select mesh entities by clicking their shaded faces
Mesh entities (PolyfaceMesh / PolygonMesh / SubD Mesh) could only be picked
on their thin edges — click_hit tested wire segments, and the solid face pick
only covers ACIS solids. When no edge is close, click_hit now also tests the
mesh's fill_tris with the same projected-triangle containment mesh_click_hit
uses for solids, so clicking a mesh's surface selects it, front-most first.
Edge proximity still takes priority.

a994a148fe perf(render): batch solid meshes, fix per-pick freezes on heavy 3D models
Opening / navigating a heavy 3D DWG (e.g. a BIM model with ~10k ACIS solids)
was effectively frozen. Several independent costs, all addressed here:

- Face3D edge/fill buffers were re-uploaded on every camera move (keyed on
camera_generation). They are world-space and selection-independent, so gate
  them on (geometry_epoch, fill_mode) instead — a pan no longer re-walks every
  wire.
- Solid meshes were drawn one buffer + one draw call per solid (~10k draws/
frame), which strangled the GPU front end. Concatenate every solid's LOD0
into a few large buffers (split only to stay under the 256 MB buffer cap) and
draw the whole set in a handful of calls. Built once per geometry epoch, so
selection / hover never re-pack it.
- Selection / hover highlight is now a small tinted overlay of just the picked
solids, drawn last with an Always-depth pipeline so it shows on top even when
the solid is occluded — instead of re-tinting and re-uploading all meshes.
- Hover / pick hit-testing scanned every triangle of every solid each move
(seconds on a heavy model). Add a 3D-AABB screen-rect broad phase
(MeshLodSet now carries z_aabb) and reuse the renderer's cached expanded mesh
set, so picking is O(solids) cheap projections plus the few solids actually
  under the cursor.
- Block-internal hatch hit-testing exploded every INSERT on every hover.
Cache the result per geometry epoch and skip blocks that contain no hatch.
- Curved-surface (cone/sphere/torus) tessellation tolerance is now radius-
relative (CURVE_REL_TOL) so a cylinder's facet count is size-independent and
matches the circle/arc wire tessellation, instead of exploding on large radii.

Also adds docs/tessellation.md mapping every EntityType to its tessellation
path (truck B-rep vs truck curve topology vs direct).

02d40bd2ec fix(viewport): clip pick/snap to the viewport rect (no off-screen hits)
The GPU scissors floating-viewport content to the viewport rectangle, but
the CPU hit-test/snap wire set runs past it (the frustum cull keeps a
margin and lines extend beyond the rect), so box selection, lasso, click
and object snap could reach geometry clipped out of the viewport.

Reject candidates whose projected screen point falls outside `bounds` (the
pane rectangle), mirroring the scissor. `bounds` is the full canvas in
model space, so every change is a no-op there.

- snap: reject out-of-bounds points in try_pt, the grid block and tangent.
- click_hit / click_hits_all: no hit when the cursor is off-pane.
- box_hit: clamp the selection box to the pane rectangle.
- poly_hit: drop wire points projected off-pane.
- hatch click: no hit when the cursor is off-pane.

fe5ff376e5 fix(pick): UTM-precise click / box / lasso selection
Selection projected wire vertices from points (the double-single HIGH half)
alone, ignoring points_low, so at UTM scale every selection test ran against
coordinates ~0.5 m off — box/crossing/window edges and click hit-tests missed
or grabbed the wrong entities, worsening with zoom.

hit_test now reconstructs each vertex's absolute f64 from points + points_low
(wp64) before projecting, across click_hit, click_hits_all, box_hit and
poly_hit (lasso). Hatch hit-tests use the f64 world_origin instead of an
f32-cast, and mesh hit-tests (click/box/lasso face picking) reconstruct from
verts + verts_low. world_to_screen now takes the f64 point directly.

6667042372 fix(xclip): precise clip + carry clip across cross-drawing paste
Clipped blocks were broken at UTM and lost their clip when pasted into
another drawing.

- Clip geometry: world_clip_polygon_f64 keeps the boundary in absolute f64;
clip_wires now clips in a frame relative to the boundary's first vertex
(small coords → exact f32 Sutherland–Hodgman) and re-splits the result
into the double-single high/low pair the relative-to-eye renderer needs,
so the clipped block draws correctly and no longer poisons ZOOM Extents.
- ZOOM Extents (fit_all): the outlier reject compared absolute UTM
  coordinates against a centre-RELATIVE span (local_extent_max), rejecting
the whole drawing → no-op. Made the reject distance-from-median-centre.
- Cross-drawing paste: clipboard now snapshots each copied entity's whole
xdictionary object graph (ClipboardDeps.ext_objects) and recreates it on
paste with fresh handles + remapped references, re-pointing the pasted
entity's xdictionary at the new root. Wired into PASTECLIP and PASTEORIG.
Fixed handle allocation (allocate_handle, not the non-advancing
next_handle) so the dictionary chain doesn't collapse onto one handle.
- Updated hit_test / plugin_host tests for the eye-relative + DVec3 signatures.

Known gaps: PASTEBLOCK does not yet carry the clip (clip would need to live
inside the new wrapper block definition); hatch-clip path still f32.

96aaf2a293 feat(snap,pick): eye-relative CPU projection — drop full view_proj at UTM
Route the remaining absolute-coordinate CPU projection through the
relative-to-eye path so it no longer multiplies by a view_proj matrix
carrying a ~1e7 translation (which cancels catastrophically in f32 after
world_offset removal):
- camera pick_on_plane / pick_on_target_plane delegate to
  unproject_on_plane_f64 (rotation-only inverse + f64 eye)
- snapper (world_to_screen), hit_test (click_hit / mesh / hatch), the
scene mesh/solid hit methods, grid + UCS axes, and polar_constrain_near
all take view_rot + eye and project relative-to-eye
- compute_grid_step measures the per-unit scale via the rotation-only
  matrix (no eye term needed)

view_proj remains only for conservative CPU frustum-cull / scissor and the
screen-space viewcube / UCS-icon directions. NOTE: SnapResult.world and
the command-point chain are still Vec3 (f32) — a ~0.5 m quantization at
extreme UTM zoom remains; the command layer goes f64 next.

d5f1348f1b fix(3d): box/lasso-select 3D solids and refresh them after a transform
Box, window, crossing and lasso selection only tested wires and hatches, so
3D solids (which render as meshes) could never be selected that way. Add
mesh_box_hit / mesh_poly_hit that project the solid mesh and test it against
the box / lasso (window = all vertices inside, crossing = any vertex inside
or the region sitting inside the solid), and wire them into the selection
paths.

Also re-tessellate solids after a move/rotate/scale/mirror/copy: the entity
moved but its cached mesh didn't, so the solid stayed drawn at its old
position. Rebuild the mesh caches when a transformed/copied handle is an
ACIS volume.

7fe7e0230d refactor(scene): group modules into role-based subfolders
Move the 30 flat modules under src/scene/ into six folders by role:
convert (entity→geometry), text (fonts/shaping), model (render models),
pick (hit-test/selection/grips/xclip), view (camera/transform/render),
cache (block + property caches). pipeline/ is unchanged.

Full path migration — all `scene::X` references become
`scene::<group>::X`, no compatibility re-exports. render.rs items that
were `pub(super)` (parent was scene) become `pub(in crate::scene)` to
keep their original scene-wide visibility.

No behavior change; build and tests are green.
